Traveling South from Atlanta, merge onto I85 S via exit 242 toward ATL Airport/Montgomery and go about 55 miles. Then merge onto I-185 S/GA 411 S via exit 21toward Columbus and go about 43 miles. Start out going NORTHEAST toward LUMPKIN RD. Turn RIGHT onto LUMPKIN RD. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto DIXIE RD. DIXIE RD becomes FIRST DIVISION RD. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto GA-411 N/LINDSAY CREEK BYP. Continue to follow GA-411 N. Merge onto US-27 N/US-280 W/GA-1 N/GA-520 W via EXIT 1B toward COLUMBUS. Turn RIGHT onto VETERANS PKWY/4TH AVE/US-27 N/GA-1 N/MARTHA BERRY HWY. Traveling from Fayetteville, take Ga-54-West approximately 10-11 miles. Turn RIGHT onto GA-74-North (Joel Cowan Parkway) for approximately 1.0 mile and continue under the Golf cart Bridge. Traveling from Newnan, head WEST on US-27ALT-West / US-29-West / GA-14-West toward US-29 / GA-14 / Jefferson Davis Memorial Highway. Turn LEFT onto US-27 ALT-South / US-29-South / GA-14-South. Turn LEFT onto Posey Place. Turn LEFT onto US-27 ALT-North / US-29-North / GA-14-North. After 11¾ miles US-27 ALT-North / US-29-North / GA-14-North becomes GA-34-East.
